Redwood Riding The Saturday Redwood Ride offers the opportunity to build confidence and experience in dealing with traditional trail challenges such as water crossings, wooden bridge crossings and single track. The ride wanders through Pescadero Creek County Park following a route of old logging roads connected by single-track trails. This ride is offered Saturdays, May through October. |

| Riders will meet an occasional cyclist on the logging roads (they are not allowed on single track trails), and will encounter a few hikers and backpackers throughout the park. Water and bridge crossings are at locations where an occasional resistant horse will have secure footing at all approaches. Whenever resistance is met our guides will help you utilize the tools which will give you the confidence to tackle more difficult riding situations. |  |
The Redwood Ride occurs on the first full day of the weekend program. "... the teachers are there to help in any way when a person or horse gets nervous. And then there's you to help us be braver for our horse's sake." |
